HACIENDA DEL CARCHE
From a family tradition dating back to the nineteenth century and protected in all new concepts of growing, making and aging, born in 2006 Carche a bodega oriented to satisfy the palate of new wine consumers D.O. Jumilla.
Vineyards and olive groves, body and soul of this land of sun, fill the 100 hectares of land, combining irrigation and shade of the Sierra del Carche with its wild and revealing dry land; senescence of vines over fifty years, with the freshness of those planted in 2007; the grape variety Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot and Garnacha, Monastrell clothing to the native for the production of our red wines, and Macabeo and Sauvignon Blanc for whites ... the explosion of contrasts that constitutes the profound essence of this region.
The construction of the winery with modern lines and noble materials such as natural stone Villa Mayor, marble and wood are mixed to maintain an internal temperature in the hold all ideal for producing wines with a unique personality year, highlighting their full integration with the environment, an ideal stage in front of the Sierra del Carche in Jumilla.
Equipped with the most modern vinification systems, such as stainless steel tanks of different capacities, all refrigerated and remounted automatic musts, presses electronically controlled to extract only the flower must or microfiltration to ensure microbiological stability, it allows us to obtain a complex, harmonious and modern wines without losing the identity of our land.
The aging for a capacity of 600 barrels, now houses 90% of French oak and American oak barrels rest of toast and different capacities.
